The bifold doors are in, though they need some tweaking because we hung the frames before glazing (and it should have been done the other way round). Makes a big difference to the light in the basement – it’s lovely

At last we’re sealed! Not completely airtight just yet but we’re certainly burglar proof. For so long it has felt a bit like living in a house on stilts, but putting this window in really makes it feel like part
